Bandsaws are great for creating straight line cuts along longer items. The open ends allow for items to run through with the 2 inch fence providing a straight line cut. The cast iron worktable allows for fine turning and control of your work as the saw does the hard part. The Rikon 10-305 has a saw operating width over 9 inches to allow for mid-size items to be worked on without interruption.
