PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles notched their fourth consecutive win by defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-23, improving to 6-2. However, head coach Nick Sirianni’s decision-making is under scrutiny after the Jaguars mounted a comeback to make it a one-possession game.
The Eagles entered the game with the fourth-best fourth-down conversion rate in the league (73.3%) but failed on two fourth-down attempts. The first came in the third quarter on a fourth-and-1 at the Jaguars’ 25-yard line, resulting in an incomplete pass. The second failure was in the second quarter, when a pass intended for wide receiver A.J. Brown fell incomplete.
